Kuala Lumpur has a fantastic range of attractions, all easily accessible from Oriental Heritage House.
Petronas Towers: These iconic towers are a must see if you’re visiting Kual Lumpur, we recommend going at night as the towers look even better when they’re lit up. If you wish to go inside and ascend to the viewpoint, be sure to book your tickets before to avoid unnecessary queuing.
From Oriental Heritage House turn right and follow Jalan Kasipillay to the main road. Cross at the traffic lights and head through Sentul Park, you can’t miss the entrace, it has the word HOME in giant letters at the front. When you reach the abandoned colonial building a hundred meters in, turn right and enter the train station. From here you can get the KTM to KL Sentral, then change to the LTR and head for KLCC. Exiting the KLCC station you will be directly below the Petronas Towers. As well as the towers there are a number of malls, shops and a beautiful park all to explore.
Bukit Bintang: If your after nightlife this is one of Kuala Lumpurs busiest disctricts for bars and entertainment, even pub crawls.

When you reach the abandoned colonial building a hundred meters in, turn right and enter the train station. From here you can get the KTM to KL Sentral. Exit KL Sentral and you will see signs for the nearby Monorail, it is about a 3 minute walk away. Take the Monorail 5 to Air-Asia Bukit Bintang, it is five stops away from Kl Sentral. You will arrive directly in the district giving you a chance to explore.
Merdeka Square: Birthplace of Malaysian Independence this square is a great place to visit during your stay.

Cross at the traffic lights and head through Sentul Park, you can’t miss the entrace, it has the word HOME in giant letters at the front. When you reach the abandoned colonial building a hundred meters in, turn right and enter the train station. From here you can get the KTM to Bank Negara. After leaving the station follow the exit bridge all the way to the main road. Turn right and walk down this road for 900 meters, crossing one road on your way. On your right will be the famous Merdeka Square.
Chinatown: Chinatown has something for everyone, with a large ranger of hawker stalls selling incredible food at a great prices, as well as many stalls selling a wide range of products all ready to be haggled for. They say Chinatown never sleeps.

Cross at the traffic lights and head through Sentul Park, you can’t miss the entrace, it has the word HOME in giant letters at the front. When you reach the abandoned colonial building a hundred meters in, turn right and enter the train station. From here you can get the KTM to Kuala Lumpur Station. Exiting the station you can turn left, heading upwards until you see the Central Market (another great place to visit if you have time). After this you will turn right and continue up the road a short while turning right before the overpass. Don’t worry you won’t miss the iconic entrance to the markets of Chinatown, they are an unmissable sight.
Batu Caves: It’s not difficult to see why these caves, millions of years old, have become a sacred sight for Hindu’s across Malaysia. Inside there a numerous temples, statues and artwork. A truly awe inspiring experience. We recommend spending the extra to visit the dark cave, we won’t say anymore, better to keep this experience a surprise.

From here take the KTM to Batu Caves, it is only 3 stops away and is the last stop on this line. When you arrive, exit the station and follow the pathway round to the gate, you will find yourself directly next to the four caves which make up Batu.
National Mosque of Malaysia: Another popular cultural site is the National Mosque of Malaysia, this beautiful structure is worth a visit.

Take the KTM to Kuala Lumpur Station, from here the National Mosque is only three minutes away. Exit the station to your right, head towards the round about and turn left onto Jalan Perdana, from here you will see the Mosque.
